Parking Garages in the CBE Vicinity

Park Slope did not get its name because it is easy to park in the neighborhood. Fortunately there areseveral garages relatively near to CBE. It is easy to find the temple because Park Slope is a grid (see map below). One garage is on Union Street between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West and another is on Union Street between Seventh Avenue and Sixth Avenue. In either case walk on Union to Eighth Avenue, turn and then walk about 4-5 blocks to Garfield Place, where you will find CBE. When you turn on Eighth Avenue, you are turning away from Flatbush Avenue, where Eighth Avenue dead-ends a few blocks from the Union Street intersection. Therefore you want to walk in the direction where Eighth Avenue appears to continue on without interruption. There is also a garage on Sixth Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue. The entrance appears to be a small parking lot close to Seventh Avenue on the right side of the street. Walk to Eighth Avenue, turn left and walk one block past First Street to Garfield Place.

Charitable giving is an important part of Judaism and is vital to our congregation. We depend on your act of generosity and kindness - of Tzedakah - to support our programs and facilities and help us meet the needs of our growing and diverse synagogue community.
