Global Hunger Shabbat

Join Congregation Beth Elohim, Brooklyn Jews, and Altshul and  as we join Jewish communities around the country in AJWS's Global Hunger Shabbat on November 2 at 7pm at Congregation Beth Elohim (274 Garfield Pl. Brooklyn). 

Schedule of the night:
7pm- Choice of Altshul style services (traditional egalitarian davening) or Congregation Beth Elohim style services (Reform services with instruments)

8:15pm - Joint Vegetarian Potluck dinner and small group discussions around some of the most pressing issues around Hunger both local and abroad (list of discussion topics will be available later this week). 

Global Hunger Shabbat, a key moment in AJWS's ongoing food justice campaign, is a weekend of nationwide solidarity, reflection and learning, motivating concrete action towards the pursuit of global food justice.
