New for summer 2012: Camp at CBE goes bilingual! In collaboration with Keshet, a program of Israelis in Brooklyn, CBE KIDS CAMPS will have a Hebrew/English camp option this summer in the Elementary Division, with native Hebrew-speaking counselors and Hebrew integrated into daily activities. The Elementary Division of Congregation Beth Elohim’s Summer Day Camp offers children lots of fun, excitement and a wide variety of recreational activities in a safe, caring environment under the supervision of a highly qualified staff. Our program is co-educational and designed to meet the developmental needs of children entering kindergarten through 4th grades.

Some of our facilities include: on-site pool, gymnasium, art studio, computer room, darkroom and many multi-use air-conditioned spaces (including group rooms). Nearby Prospect Park is utilized for sports, circus arts, nature and outdoor play.

DATES: July 2 – August 17; Closed: July 4
HOURS: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Early Bird: 8 – 9 a.m., Extended Day: 5 – 6 p.m.

Activities include:

• Swimming for each group supervised by a Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor and an Assistant with Advanced Life Saving
• Active outdoor sports program
• Gymnastics
• Nature
• Circus Arts
• Arts & Crafts
• Music
• Additional activities include: nature photography, cooking, dance, sports clinic, drama, jewelry, newspaper, computers and much, much more
• Trips: In and around NYC (e.g. baseball games, Liberty Science Center, Adventure Land and more…
• Special Programming: Mid-session Olympics (full day of sports and field events) and Carnival
• On-site sleepover for campers entering 3rd grade; off site for 4th grade
• Jewish/ Israeli culture including Friday Shabbat program

Full season:
CBE Member: $2,500 Non-Member: $2,700

Monthly (any 4 weeks):
CBE Member: $1,640 Non-Member: $1,760

Weekly:
CBE Member: $420 Non-Member: $450

Receive 20% discount if extended day fee is prepaid. No refunds for unused hours.

Full season, a.m. and p.m.: $490
Full season, a.m. or p.m.: $245
Per hour: $7
Deposit: $350
($300 applied to camp fees, $50 for security fee)

All applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $350 per child, with $300 applied towards the balance and $50 towards a security fee. The balance due by June 8.

Discounts for early registration and full payment if received by April 16, 2012. Camp fees are reduced by 5%. Early registration discount does not apply to security & extended day fees.

Fees include juice and snack. T-shirt will be provided for all children.

All financial obligations from previous CBE programs must be satisfied before acceptance into this program. Camper medicals are due by June 8. No child will be admitted to camp without a current medical form (Issued by the NYC Dept. of Health).
