150th Events and ProgramsEvents and Programs | CBE History | Gala
CBE launched its year of celebration at the Opening Ceremony on October 7th, 2012. The opening ceremony included a breakfast with Soferet Linda Coppelson and many distinguished guests. The keynote address was given by Nicole Krauss. The scribing of the sefer torah began with an emotional ceremony where Rabbi Emeritus Weider and CBE's past presidents scribed the first word of the Torah, Breishit. *Have You Made Your Date to Scribe? Many of our congregants have made their dates and time slots are harder to get with more than half sold out. Only 4 appointments left for private scribing on Opening Day! Make your appointment before it's too late at cbebk.org.
